Green Bridge Agriculture is owned and operated by Rob Wallbridge.
Rob is passionate about promoting the knowledge and practice of sustainable, regenerative agriculture, with a particular emphasis on soil health. He has worked extensively with organic farmers and other businesses on projects related to production, processing, certification, research, and marketing.
These projects are informed and grounded by running his own farming operation, Songberry Organic Farm, in Bristol, Quebec with his wife and two young children. Rob grew up on dairy and cash crop farms in Eastern Ontario. After obtaining a Bachelor of Arts & Science from McMaster University, he apprenticed on organic farms in Nova Scotia and Western Ontario before returning to the family farm to start an organic market garden. He is a trained organic certification inspector, a graduate of the Advanced Agricultural Leadership Program, and a past board member of the Ecological Farmers Association of Ontario. Rob volunteers on the Livestock Working Group of the CGSB Organic Technical Committee and blogs about food and agriculture at The Fanning Mill.
